Marcello Tarantino, a stylist and bespoke tailor, spent 48 years in Yorkville, Toronto, catering to a clientele who truly appreciated the finest elements of tailoring. His admiration for pure design and skill brought out his fascination to the art of expressing personal style. This passion carried over in his love of art compelled him to collect works of art, befriended many artists through the years and instilled an appreciation of the arts to his family. Since 2011, every June he has curated an art exhibit of Italian and Italo-Canadian artists at the Joseph Carrier Gallery in Columbus Centre, in occasion of Italian Heritage Month. Marcello Tarantino has amassed a large collection of artworks. His collection includes artworks by national and international established, mid career and emerging artists.
